Mammoth Mountain California has some of the best skiing in the world and a season that can run from October to July(not anymore). In the past 25 years the mountain hasn't really changed that much itself. But the management has. The great Dave McCoy only a good memory and the new management is looking to kiss anybody to sell,sell, sell.  In the next five years, Mammoth will have no equal. So, if you don't get a place soon, it may be too late. Resort property is a must.

 Its a good thing Mammoth has such good skiing because that is all it has with the exception of a nice few places(changing).. On the way to skiing the Materhorn restaurant is a GREAT place to eat breakfast. If your in town and like real Mexican food, stop in at Mi Pueblo in the Sierra Center Mall. It is the best Mexican food in Mammoth. The picture on the left is at the Yodler bar. Snow Country rates it in the top three in the West. We rate it #1. The Yodler Bar is right off the hill and a great place to rest and relax. It is also the best place to eat lunch on hill.

Nevados is by far the only real food in Mammoth for dinner. There is no real Night life. Only a bunch of worn out dives badly in need of repair..But Mammoth is changing and soon will be the premier resort in the US.
