DECEMBER 3 & 4, 1998

17 year old Anja Paerson winning her first World Cup Slalom victory in the style of the world's

greatest ski racer ever and countryman Ingamar Stenmark. Anja was seeded 37th on the first

run finishing 15th and out by almost 2 seconds coming from behind to finish first by 6/100's of
